Sadly, Rush Association Treasurer, Jim Hocking received an email from Shirley Golden, wife of James T. "Jim" Golden. An excerpt of her email is quoted below:
“Dear Jim and Shelley; My Jim died last night August 3, 2006........ I will miss him so much. Love, Shirley”

Comments from Association President, Bernie Caprerea, include: "Unfortunately, we have lost another brother. The passing of Jim is especially tough to take because he was enjoyable to be around, and, an overall nice guy."
Comments from Association Treasurer, Jim Hocking, include: Friends... I am sad to announce that Jim Golden has passed away. Shelley and I remember him as a nice man and of course the husband of Shirley Golden... There are so many things I want to say. I called Shirley tonite to offer my prayers....."

"Jim", loving and devoted husband of Shirley died August 3, 2006. In addition to his wife, Jim cherished the love of their children, Sue (Carroll), James (Nancy), Karen, Christopher (Christine), Kerry (Tom), Robert, Shirley and Wesley. His heart held great love for his grandchildren, Rob, Tara, Corey, Jenna, Emily, Bobby, James, Shauna, Matthew, Jocy, Kaelyn and Lillian. To celebrate Jim's life, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
