Chief Petty Officer Ronald C. Mosher, USN, Ret.
March 9, 1943 - September 20, 1995
Ronald C. Mosher, 52, of 7 Bodwell St., Sanford, Maine, died unexpectedly Wednesday at Maine Medical Center, Portland. He was born in Sanford, Maine, March 9, 1943, a son of Clyde E. & Yvette LaFrance Mosher. He attended Sanford schools and graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1962.
After graduation, Mr. Mosher enlisted in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Navy in 1982 after 20 years of service. He retired with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He completed a tour in Vietnam from 1968 through 1969.
Mr. Mosher, at the time of his death, was the Adjutant of Post #19 of the American Legion in Sanford. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Besides his Mother, he is survivied by his wife, Jacqueline C. St. Amand Mosher, both of Sanford, three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Vallincourt of Florida, Mrs. Charles (Claudette) Rodrique & Mrs Royal (Rachel) Marceau of Sanford, and by several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:00 AM, Saturday, in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetary.
