I have since been back to RI and the place has become a tourist town. Leo's is gone, as is fleet landing. I transfered to the USS Yellowstone (AD-27) in 56. Does anyone have any information as to what became of the Fiske? I heard that she was sold to either the Greek or Turkish Navy and was still around under a different name.

Comments: Hello, Chief... I haven't signed the book in a while, so I thought I would today. I see so many new names every time I check in. If they follow all the links, they must know that we have a very active Association, with one of the best newsletters ever published by a non-professional group. Isn't it strange how so many want to say hello to their buddy, but do not take the time to join the Association, or even contact us? Thanks for YOUR efforts, though. Keep up the good work and take care! Jim
